Dear mean girls,

I know I’m not the

One born with the most

Beautiful prominent features

All over my face

But then again how do you limit beauty?

Why do you get to judge if

A pointy nose like cinderallas step-mother

Is better than that of Moana?

Or how some people have

“Too big” eyes for their face?

Or a long slender neck

suits one buy not the other?

Beauty, is in fact, in the eye

of the beholder.

For I may like crooked smiles

And pointy noses

I may fall for small eyes

and smaller lips.

Someone may love my glasses

Or the freckled cheeks I have

For what we see,

Is just skin deep.

And there’s more to life

Than that.

I’m not saying it’s your fault

Not entirely

We are taught this

But maybe its time you lead the way

Accept the way you are

And help others accept what they have

For beauty is everywhere,

We just don’t see it.

A hater who still believes in you.
